The “2022 Elevate St. Louis Senior Luncheon – Presented by Paramount Bank” commemorated the graduation of our first class of students who joined us on August 9, 2018. Family members, staff, board members and donors gathered together to celebrate our students’ accomplishments over the last four years.

We announced a new partnership with the LaRocca Scholarship Foundation and Microsoft. Annual proceeds from the foundation will fuel the Elevate St. Louis Life Launch Fund. The fund will help students make the transition from high school into higher education, employment or entrepreneurship. Each member of the class of 2022 was awarded $550 to use for education expenses, secure reliable transportation for work, or purchase tools/equipment.

Kevin Mansco, husband of the late Ashley LaRocca, spoke of his wife’s dedication to community activism that led to opportunities for young people in Metro St. Louis.

Nathan Hennessey, Ashley’s brother, reflected upon their life together and offered words of inspiration to the graduates.

Each graduating senior was awarded a check for $550 from the LaRocca Scholarship Foundation and Microsoft to launch them into the next stages of life after high school.

Alex Hildreth, Elevate St. Louis Board Member, provided roses to our students to share with their parents and family members.

Teacher-Mentor, Charles Taylor, provided heart-felt expressions of love and gratitude as he addressed his first class of students.

Table decorations, balloons, and graduation backdrop were all provided by Monica McClendon, Elevate St. Louis Board Member.
